The number of mobile data users in state of Uttarakhand is much higher than other states and the Uttarakhand and west Uttar Pradesh circle is key market for the telecommunication industry, said the Operations Director, Vodafone India, Suresh Kumar while speaking at the launching ceremony of the 4 G services in the state on Thursday. He said that the company has global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 20 countries which gives it a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer.
The 4 G service of the company in the state was ceremoniously launched by the Inspector General (IG) Uttarakhand police, Sanjay Gunjyal.
The Business Head, UP (west) Circle, Dilip Kumar Ganta said that the company has 11.3 million customers in the circle. “Beginning with Dehradun, Haridwar and Aligarh, the capital city, tourism hub and Educational center respectively, we will shortly expand our 4G service across the entire circle in a phased manner,” he said.
The company also announced many lucrative offers to the customers on the occasion.
