Senior and renowned cardiologist of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital Dr SP Singh has been awarded the National level Honour of Fellowship of Indian Academy of Echocardiography and became the first cardiologist of Uttarakhand to be bestowed with the most coveted fellowship.
This fellowship has been awarded to Dr Singh acknowledging his outstanding contribution in the discipline of echocardiography. This Fellowship was awarded in the recent 18th National Annual IAE conference held at Bengaluru. After receiving honour Dr Singh expressed happiness and thanked organisation’s Chairman Shri Mahant Devendra Dass ji Maharaj and praised his leadership.
He emphasized that three decades back, heart related diseases used to attack only after a certain age limit, but nowadays they are prevalent in all age groups. He also said that in order to prevent heart diseases, comprehensive researches need to be conducted. It is worth mentioning that in the previous few years, Dr Singh has also been honoured with the fellowship of Cardiological Society of India, Indian Society of Cardiology, Indian Society of electro-cardiology and Indian College of Physicians for his significant role in treatment and research assignments.
