Control room set up by the Haryana Government started getting positive response from public, as 169 calls have been received so far at the control room here at Chandigarh on Sunday from different parts of the State and the relatives of about 921 stranded persons in Uttarakhand provided information to the control room.
Krishna Mohan, Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management said that besides a helpline number +91-172-2545938 at control room they has also set up two control rooms each at Dehradun and Rishikesh for providing necessary help to the people belonging to Haryana, who are stranded at various places of Uttarakhand.
