The State Cabinet Minister and Minister in-charge of the district, Mantri Prasad Naithani, has asked the officials concerned of the Udham Singh Nagar district administration to utilise the fund allocated to the district and State plans and to other schemes by end of the current financial year.
Reviewing the progress of district and State plans and Centrally sponsored schemes in Udham Singh Nagar on Monday, the Minister in-charge of the district emphasised on the need to expedite pace of developmental works and utilise the fund allocated under different schemes by end of the current financial year.
He also asked the officials to prepare estimate in case there is need of fund for carrying out any project. Meanwhile, Naithani also stressed on the need to take appropriate measures to curb illegal mining in the district.
Besides, the Minister also asked the officials to take steps to curb sale of illicit liquor in the district. Apart from focusing on various developmental projects, the Minister in-charge of Udham Singh Nagar also called for maintaining law and order in the district and asked the officials concerned of the district administration and police to hold regular meetings.
