There is an urgent need to start an awareness campaign among women in rural areas so that they do not fall prey to breast cancer, said the President of social organization, ‘ Hello Zindagi’, Vinit Tyagi while addressing women in an camp organised at Chandeli village of Puraula block in Uttarkashi district on Friday. He said that the women should overcome their inhibitions and should be more concerned towards their health. large number of rural women participated in the camp in which information about the disease and methods of its prevention were discussed in detail. Purni Devi, who participated in the camp, said that the information which she got in the camp was new to her and was very important. She said that Breast cancer is a very dangerous disease and all women should be made aware about the disease. Tyagi said that the organization is holding many such camps in the rural areas of the state and the response of the women in these camps is very encouraging.
