After terming Interim Budget as election-propaganda for wooing voters across the country, leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha Ajay Bhatt expressed concern that UPA-II has failed to sanction development funds for carrying rehabilitation works in the disaster hit areas of the State.
According to him, neither UPA-II nor Congress-led State Government has issued enough funds for redressing the grievances of all those villagers who faced the brunt of natural calamities.
He lamented that UPA-II is yet to take effective measures for controlling rampant corruption and prices of essential commodities in the length and breadth of country.
Bhatt said that voters will cast their votes in favour of the BJP in the upcoming general elections as voters are now started feeling cheated due to the anti-people policies which were implemented by the UPA and UPA-II during its decade rule in the Centre.
According to him, it has turned extremely difficult for the common man to survive as the prices of essential commodities have been continuously increasing across the country and the UPA-II has also failed to keep a tab on the corruption in the county. The UPA-II is yet to introduce effective and pro-people policies for the upliftment of the weaker section of the society.
He also expressed his concern over the issue that Congress-led State Government has completely failed on all fronts especially for taking effective steps for redressing the grievances of disaster hit villagers, who are living in the mountainous parts of the State.
