State BJP has alleged that Congress-led UPA Government has failed to fulfill its promises to ex-servicemen who were assured their arrears under one rank one pension by April 30, so far. With this they have ascertained our claim that one rank one pension (OROP) decision was politically motivated.
Sharpening its attack on Congress, State BJP has released chargesheet against Congress-led UPA Government 10 years long rule and two years long Congress Uttarakhand government on Wednesday in which they alleged that UPA Government had promised that they would put a check on price rise but they failed to do so. During NDA regime, its GDP was 9.5 percent while it reached to 4.5 percent during UPA regime.
They promised that they would provide employment but in reality 4.01 crore people are officially unemployed, who have registered before employment exchange, in all over the India and in Uttarakhand 6.74 lakh unemployed registered.
UPA government promoted coal scam and made around Rs 1.86 lakh crore dent on Indian exchequer by allocating 194 coal blocks to their near and dear one. They also fleeced public money worth of Rs 1.76 lakh crore in 2G scam by allocating 122 telecom circle. In Commonwealth Games-2010 they fleeced Rs 76,000 crore.
In Uttarakhand they promoted SIDCUl land scam by giving government land to the private builder at cheaper rate and later the builder sold it at higher price. In a bid to give personal benefit to the liquor trader state government made changes in Fl-2 license.
Currently Uttarakhand government has Rs 28498.94 crore loan and State is unable to spend 60 per cent of its annual plan budget because they do not have financial resources. There is financial mismanagement prevailing in the State. Indian farmers are deserting their agricultural land because 10.30 crore farmers were residing in the country state in 2001 but now mere 9.58 farmers are cultivating their land due to mismanagement. Two farmers are committing suicide per hour in India. Due to government mismanagement, agriculture produce including fruits gets destroyed every year. They have not declared Minimum support price of agriculture produce.
As far as law and order situation is concerned then it is pathetic. 27.6 percent crime graph has increased; 39.8 percent loot incident increased and 31.9 percent rape case have increased. Schools are being run without teachers and government failed to make recruitment against the vacancy. Hopsitals are running without doctor and 8.5 lakh rural people are not getting medical facility and transfer posting business booming in the State.
