A day after making waves through a statement on Twitter for the Uttar Pradesh Government on the issue of the proposed Patanjali food and herbal park in Greater Noida, Acharya Balkrishna now stands pacified after getting a positive response from the UP Government within 24 hours of its decision of reportedly denying permission for the same.
A day ago a buzz was created when Swami Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved limited had decided to shift the proposed Patanjali Food and Herbal Park along Yamuna express highway from Greater Noida after the Uttar Pradesh Government had denied permission for it. Reacting to the development, managing director of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park, Acharya Balkrishna had slammed the present UP Government headed by Yogi Aditynath for being indifferent towards Patanjali. On Wednesday, when quizzed, Balkrishna confirmed that things have settled and Yogi Adityanath has assured resolution of problems being faced in execution of the proposal.
Balkrishna had earlier opined that the dream of the Patanjali enterprise to bring prosperity to the state of UP was foiled due to indifferent attitude of the UP government towards the proposal for which the Central Government had given a green signal. “The Greater Noida food park would have brought prosperity to the land of lord Rama and Krishna. However, because of the State Government's indifference this will remain a dream. We have decided to shift to some other location,” he had tweeted.
It is pertinent to mention here that the then UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav had unveiled the foundation for Patanjali's mega food park in Noida about two years ago. The project spans 455 acres with an investment of over Rs 1500 crore with potential for providing employment to thousands of people.
