The Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast moderate rain/snow at many places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts and light to moderate rain/snow at a few places in the rest of the districts of Uttarakhand. Rather heavy rain/snow could occur at isolated places, especially in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts. Snowfall (10 to 30 cm in depth) may occur at places with height of around 3500m. Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre director Anand Sharma said that in Dehradun, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 32.6°C and 17°C, respectively, on Saturday. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Sunday is generally cloudy sky with possibility of thunder cloud development/thunder shower in some areas towards evening/night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 28°C and 18°C, respectively, on Sunday in Dehradun, it is learnt.
