Video conferencing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewing Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI), the Utarakhand Chief Secretary S Ramaswamy informed him about the four laning of Haridwar-Dehradun road, AMRUT and the sanitation programme. For the four laning of Haridwar-Dehradun road, the high tension line had been shifted in December 2016 after which permission for river bed material and other items had been granted in November 2016. The four laning work will be over by March 31, 2018, he said.
In the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), he informed that the working plan for the mission had been prepared. Uttarakhand has secured ninth position in the country by completing about 68 per cent of its work under this mission.
About mission Indradhanush, he said 12,740 children from 8,000 families had been vaccinated under the mission undertaken separately from the regular vaccination campaign.
