The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) Panwar faction is all set for the coming panchayat and lok Sabha elections with party leaders claiming to have taken care to ensure a positive result for the party in the polls.

In order to ensure loyalty to the party, the the party workers would be asked to sign an oath about upholding the values and acting according to the policies of the party. He also alleged that the UKD-Airy faction was alligned with the Congress party. He added that the UKD will not be providing its support to either BJP or Congress and would act independently.

When asked about the party agenda for the upcoming Panchayat and lok Sabha elections, Panwar said, “UKD is the oldest regional party of the state and had contributed a lot in the formation of Uttarakhand State. Our main objective is to work for the upliftment of the citizens of the state, which is possible only when Gairsain is made the permanent State capital which along with preventing migration from the mountains and facilitating jobs in the mountainous regions is part of our main agenda.”
