The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal on Tuesday accused the officials concerned of not discharging their responsibilities seriously.
The UKD members said that MCD is responsible for keeping the city clean but the drains were not cleaned properly before monsoon which is causing major inconvenience to the people.
Due to the resulting waterlogging, the traffic in Dehradun has been badly hit with traffic jams lasting couple of hours in some places.
If the problem is not resolved within a week, a protest will be held, said the UKD members.
