The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal will hold a meet of all its district heads and ad hoc executive committee in Rishikesh on May 12. According to the party president Trivendra Singh Panwar, the meet is being held to discuss the details of the party convention slated to be held on July 24-25.
Panwar alleged that some of the leaders and members recently expelled from the party were working on the directions of the Congress and trying to break up the UKD.
By calling a convention of the UKD later this month, these leaders are trying to misguide the party workers, he further averred.
