Uttarakhand Gramin Bank (UGB) inaugurated its 246th branch at Naya Gaon Polio, Dehradun on Tuesday. General Manager of UGB, Jagdish Kumar graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the branch.
With this the number of UGB branches has reached to 246 in the State and 35 in the State capital. Interestingly, all these branches of UGB are lashed with CBS techniques which provide the customers of this bank to avail the transaction facility in any of the other bank.
UGB is also planning to extend its banking services in the rural areas of the State soon.Highlighting the latest failities of the bank, Kumar said that CBS facility is available at nearly all the branches if UGB and it provides few other facilities including NEFT, SMS alert, internet banking, e-banking, western union money transfer and issuing pan card are available.
He added that bank has also started UGB tax saving scheme and ATM card facility, which could be availed in any ATM of SBI bank. He also stated that this bank is providing various loan scheme including education loan, housing loan, personal loan, vehicle loan on attractive interest rates.
Various lucrative schemes are also introduced especially for women including lPG gas schemes and other related schemes.
