In a bid to create awareness about diseases like AIDS in the society, the Udham Singh Nagar district administration is going to organise an awareness rally involving school children in the district on the occasion of World AIDS Day on December 1.
As many as 50 school children from each school of the district will take part in this awareness rally.
Different awareness programmes, essay and poster competitions , involving school children will also be organised on this occasion, informed the officials concerned of the district administration, Udham Singh Nagar.
At the same time, Nidhi Yadav, ADM, Udham Singh Nagar, has also directed the officials concerned to organise awareness programmes in different hospitals across the district so that people could be made aware about diseases like AIDS.
To make the health awareness programmes successful in the district , Anganwadi officials, asha health workers should also be involved, the ADM further said.
