In view of the Mahatma Gandhi birth anniversary on October 2, the Udham Singh Nagar district administration has decided to keep all the liquor shops, including Indian made foreign liquor and country made liquor shops, closed across the district on that occasion.
The Udham Singh Nagar District Magistrate, Brijesh Kumar Sant, has directed District Excise Officer KK Kandpal, to ensure full implementation of the order issued in regard to closure of the liquor shops on the occasion of the Gandhi birth anniversary programmes in the district on October 2. At the same the respective SDMs and police officials concerned have also been asked to ensure closure of liquor shops in their respective areas on October 2, said District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar.
