Udham Singh Nagar police claimed to have cracked a murder mystery by arresting five people on Tuesday.
Investigation revealed that deceased’s wife and her male friend were involved in the murder. Ajmar Singh was murdered on October 29, 2014 when a truck crushed the bike he was riding on at Kunda on Afzalgarh Kashipur road. Rajendra Singh, deceased’s family member, had registered a case of murder against unidentified persons in the police station at Kunda. He had alleged that deceased’s wife Ranjeet Kaur might have been involved in it as she was having extra- marital relationship with Hardeep Singh. Udham Singh Nagar SSP Nilesh Anand Bharne had formed a team led by Kamlesh Upadhyay and they probed the case. Finally, police have arrested all the five persons involved in it, said SSP Bharne.
