Two youths drowned in Koshi river in Almora on Monday. According to district magistrate, Almora, Vinod Kumar Suman, the deceased duo was part of a tourist group comprising five youths from Ranikhet. The deceased were identified as Saifaz Siddaqui son of Sohaib Siddaqui, and Rahul Dungra, son of Bhagat Singh, added the Almora district administration officials. They added that the other three of the group- Hemant Dungra, Tribhuwan Rawat and Manmohan- are safe. A rescue team rushed to the spot after being informed. The two youths were brought to the hospital where they died later. After the postmortem, the bodies were handed over to their family members.
