Dehradun police have recovered a body of a two-year-old girl from the banks of river ‘Song’, Keshavpuri under Doiwala police station on Wednesday. The body has been identified as that of Jalpari, daughter of Saro Kha, a resident of Keshavpuri, Doiwala. The body was sent for postmortem, said Doiwala police station inspector Sandeep Negi. Negi said Saro Kha, wife of Kishan, had registered a report about her missing daughter on Wednesday morning.
According to Saro, her daughter had been missing since 2 am on Tuesday. Negi further said that taking cognisance of the missing report, teams were formed and the search for the girl was carried out. Finally, police recovered her body at 10 am from the banks of river, Song, Keshavpur on Wednesday.
