A number of members of the Muslim community took out a procession also involving persons riding on two-wheelers in celebration on the occasion o Milad un-Nabi in Nainital town on Monday. Though associated more with towns in the NCR region, the procession of two-wheelers with youth waving flags presented a different sight in the lake city. The Jashn e Eid Milad Un Nabi committee had organised a procession to commemorate the occasion. Starting at the club, the procession passed through Bada Bazaar, Pichadi Bazaar and reached the DSA ground where a gathering had been organised. The Ulema from the Jama Masjid in Kathgodam who had arrived here on the occasion addressed the gathering about the life and teachings of prophet Mohammed.
