To lift vehicles found parked on no-parking zones and also to remove the vehicles from the site after occurrence of an accident, State police have provided two crane mobiles to Dehradun police on Tuesday.
Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police Nivedita Kukreti flagged them off from SSP office. She said that it has been observed that people are parking their vehicles in no-parking zone areas with impunity, their carelessness regarding the rules spawning traffic jams on the roads.
“We would have them lifted through these two cranes to clear the roads of the congestions,” she added.
