In a bid to bring confidence among the failed students, who believe that their life finish once he/she failed in his/her class, RlEK is going to organise Failure conclave here in Dehradun in the month of October. This was disclosed by its head Awdhash Kaushal on saturday.
The conclave will have a distinguished speaker who failed twice in school and was given Padma Award by the President of India. Another speaker who failed thrice in a class became Principal of the same school. Yet another speaker who failed in Physics in Intermediate became Head of Physics Department in a University.
Children who fail in exams are often being criticized by their parents as well as society and at times even ostracized. This also results in many such children committing suicide resulting in young lives being lost. In India about 20 students kill themselves every day due to the stress related to exams, wanting to secure seats in prestigious schools, according to the National Crime Records Bureau. It is not them who are failures but it is the system which is a failure.
The Biggest Failures of Successful People and (How They Got Back Up).. Failure is the most important step to reaching success, but it's never easy to admit you've failed, but it's a crucial step.
Thomas Edison's teachers told him he was "too stupid to learn anything." His mother quickly pulled him from school and taught him at home. At age 12, Edison set out to put much of that education to work. Edison also famously invented 1,000 light bulbs before creating one that worked. RH Macy had a history failing businesses, including a dud Macy's in NYC. But Macy kept up the hard work and ended up with the biggest department store in the world.
People like Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, Bill Gates have been very successful but what is common amongst them is that they are school drop-outs. This goes to prove that education and success are not synonymous. In India where the education system is nothing to boast of we have scandals which have been witnessed in many states such as Bihar, where students top in the exam but in reality cannot even pronounce correctly the subject they have topped in. But what most people don't know is just how they failed before they succeeded.
