Chief Minister Harish Rawat has categorically said that cabinet minister Amrita Rawat was replaced with Dinesh Dhanai and it is prerogative of the chief minister to reshuffle his cabinet.
later he further said that there is not final full stop on cabinet reshuffle. With this CM has given enough hints that few more Ministers may be replaced by new faces in the near future. Sources said that two Ministers Mantri Prasad Naithani and Dinesh Aggrawal may be removed from the Cabinet.
In a bid to deceive the rival faction which may raise this issue before party high command that Rawat is making scapegoat of his rivals in the party, CM may remove his close confidant Dinesh Aggrawal. Although it has not been announced officially but CMO has given enough hints that these two developments may happen in next few days.
Sources said that Rawat is very upset with the Congress defeat in Haridwar, where Renuka Rawat lost to BJP candidate Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank by 1,77,822 votes, so he may take Dinesh Aggrawal’s head. Meanwhile, leader of Opposition in Uttarakhand Assembly, Ajay Bhatt alleged that the Government may fall shortly because the way CM is anointing the MlAs by giving them Cabinet Minister status as part of damage control exercise. It has ascertained our claim that the CM is putting all effort to save his Government and State is real sufferer.
By removing Amrita Rawat from Cabinet and inducting independent and first time MlA Dinesh Dhanai into the Cabinet, the CM has shown that he is in hurry to save his Government.
This has also exposed the Congress’ stand on women empowerment as they removed their women Minister and all happened when the party is being led by a women president.
