TUPTA's memo in blood to Sonia for jobs

Published on:

The members of the Trained Unemployed Physical Teachers Association (TUPTA) resumed their agitation for the creation of posts of physical education teachers in the Government schools of the State on Monday. These members wrote a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi using their own blood. In the letter the unemployed accused the state chief Minister Harish Rawat for ignoring their demands.

The President of the association Sundar Singh Dhoni said that the unemployed physical education graduates are feeling being cheated by the State Government as it has not kept its promise to appoint physical education teachers in the schools of the state. The Chief Minister had declared that the post of one physical education teacher would be created in the schools where more than 50 students are enrolled. The TUPTA has threatened to intensify its agitation in near future if the State Government continues to ignore its demand.k
