The Dehradun police have drafted a traffic plan for the second show of ‘The Great Khali Returns Series’ scheduled to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Raipur, in Dehradun on Sunday as a large number of spectators are expected to come for the event. SP Traffic DS Gunjyal said that spectators coming from Survey Chowk side should follow the routes as Survey Chowk, Sahastradhara Crossing, Nanapani Chowk, Tapovan Road, Tapovan Chowk, Raipur Bazar, Shiv temple and Stadium.
Spectators coming from Mussoorie diversion side should follow the routes as diversion, IT Park, Nalapani, Tapavan Chowk, Raipur Bazar, Shiv Tample and stadium. Spectators coming from Rishikesh side should follow the routes as Rani Pokhri, Thano, Soda Siroli village and stadium. Spectators coming from Doiwala side should follow the routes as Harawala, Nakraunda, Raipur, Shiv Temple and Stadium. Spectators coming from Rispana and Haridwar bypass road side should follow the routes as Miyawala Chowk, Bhagwan Das Medical College, Balawala, Mansipulia, Raipur and stadium.
VIP routes are as follows EC Road, Araghar Chowk, Fawara Chowk, Pulia-6, ladpur crossing, Raipur Bazar, Shiv templ and stadium. Heavy vehicles going Doiwala via Rispana crossing from Haridwar road and vice versa would follow the route of Dudhali. Moreover security in the stadium will be beefed up with the deployment of additional forces.
