A delegation of Prantiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal, Uttarakhand met Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna in his office on Tuesday.
During meeting they strongly objected the State Government's decision to include 43 items into Essential Commodities Act-2013, which made mandatory to the traders to display their stock into board outside their outlets or godown, says that this will promote inspector Raj.
Following on their demand CM Bahuguna assured them that State Government does not want to harass them; so he decided to constitute three members Cabinet committee led by state food and civil supply minister Pritam Singh. Other two ministers would be State irrigation Minister Yashpal Arya and Agriculture Minister Harak Singh Rawat. They would assess the act impact and will submit their recommendation after having detail deliberation with Vyapar Mandal.
