Tourists make way to Mukteshwar

Published on:

With Nainital being jam-packed with tourists, many are now making their way towards Mukteshwar. According to sources, about 1,500 vehicles are arriving at Mukteshwar daily. There is space for parking about 70 vehicles near the Mukteshwar temple but for the convenience of the visitors, the local police are facilitating parking on the roadside near IVRI roundabout and from Mohan Bazaar to the temple. The police are working hard in order to prevent a traffic jam like situation in this mountain town. Tourist police centres have also been opened near the Mukteshwar temple and Dhanachuli Bend. The visitors are seeking information about other nearby tourist destinations including Almora, Ranikhet and other locations. Police personnel have been posted in different localities of the town to ensure that the rush of tourists does not lead to traffic jam.
