The toppers of Class X and XII examination of the Uttarakhand Vidhyalayi Shiksha Parishad (Uttarakhand Board) would be felicitated by the Governor of Uttarakhand, Dr KK Paul by ‘Governor’s Award’. The governor would award 25 toppers of the board examination, 2016 on June 10 at Raj Bhawan auditorium. The idea to reward the toppers of the state board was conceived by Dr Paul last year and on June 6 last year a ceremony was organsied for the first time in the State.
Apart from rewarding the students the Principals of six best schools of the state in terms of providing excellent examination results in state board would also be honored by the Governor on the day.
