In a bid to celebrate former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday, State BJP launched Atal Sandesh Saptah (Atal Message week) programme here in State BJP head office, dehradun on Sunday. In this programme their workers will visit everyone house and remind them about the Atalji's message especially what vision he had for the Uttarakhand.
In his address, State BJP president Ajay Bhatt said that Ex-PM Atal is ideal statesman and dedicated his entire life to the nation.
He maintained high moral while being in power or in Opposition and by doing this he become ideal for others which is why people either in ruling or Opposition have great respect for him.
As a RSS worker he spent his life as monk and given new direction to nation, society and politics as well. He did not bother about his health.
His contribution in Uttarakhand is unimaginable because he made Uttarakhand as separate state from Uttar Pradesh and given industrial package to make Uttarkhand prosperous financially.
With the creation of Uttarakhand he has given clinching evidence that he had understanding on people pulse otherwise he would not have created three new states including Uttarakhand.
Although his health condition is not well but his name would be remain written in golden letters. on this occasion he wished for his good health and long life.
Tehri MP Mala Rajya lakshmi Shah said that he is great leader and his contribution to the state would remain in everyone's memory.
The BJP state vice president Kedar Joshi, state general secretary Naresh Bansal, ex MP Balraj Passi and youth wing leader Saurabh Thapliyal among others expressed their views on the occasion.
