Demanding the problem of unemployment be sorted out immediately, the former CM ND Tiwari and his son Rohit Shekhar Tiwari sat on symbolic ‘Maun’ (silence) at Martyrs’ Memorial in Dehradun on Saturday.
ND Tiwari said that he has written a letter to the CM Harish Rawat for the redressal of the unemployed youths’ demands. Shekhar lent his weight behind the demand of the unemployed BEd trained youths and Yoga Trained Youths for jobs and appealed to the State Government to meet their demands.
Earlier in Haldwani, Tiwari, his wife Ujjawala Tiwari and son Shekhar had sat on maun, supporting the demand of the UPNl employees for jobs.
