'Time to realise Modi's vision at ground level'

On the second day of the Bharatiya Janata Party executive committee meeting at Nainital on Sunday, the BJP assistant organisation general secretary Shiv Prakash categorically stated that the BJP had managed to form the Government with landslide victory. This is not party MlAs victory as it happened becasue people have given their mandate to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and given vote as pro-country. “Now it is time for us to implement PM Modi’s vision on ground because he has dreamt of nation’s development and no development can happen unless and until party workers disseminate information about the union and state government achievements among the masses,” he said.

He explained to the party executive why the centenery of Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya was being celebrated and how it is important for the nation. “Earlier, people were used to hear about Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and now they have been listening about Pundit Upadhyay so you should at least know how he steer towards Jansangh instead of Congress.” He explained that since partition of India the party has grown to a strength of 281 out of 543 member lok Sabha under the leadership from Shayma Parsad Mukherjee to PM Narendra Modi, that is from two to 281 seats. He advised the party leaders and workers that now party has formed the Government in the state so one will have to be patient and execute the development projects on the ground with more sincerity than was done earlier.

Former Chief Minister and Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar MP Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that one should not take pride in the position as such sentiment does not have longetivity. “For instance during Harish Rawat led Uttarakhand Government I along with other BJP leaders had visited the CM house and though we kept waiting for more than two and half hours but he did not come out. Then we had announced that his door is closed for all so it should not be opened in any circumstance and see where he is nowIJ” said Koshyari. He advised all the party workers that this is time to work with more sincerity than celebrating the victory.

Former CM and Hardiwar MP Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ confined his speech to the union government’s achievements. Now the focus has to be on how to implement the schemes in the state because people have formed double engine government which will require one to be more accountable than now, said Nishank.

The BJP state president Ajay Bhatt, under whose leadership party has won 57 seats in the 70-member assembly, explained the party’s upcoming programme. Taking cognisance of the anti-party activity, complaints of which were lodged by the party leaders against the party workers during assembly eleciton, Bhatt said that the party has increased the size of BJP state disciplinary committee and that the committee can seek help of any incharge or district president to collect appropriate information against the person instead of taking decision in a hurry.
