Noted hockey player Vandana Katariya who excelled in the Tokyo Olympics has been selected for prestigious Tilu Rauteli award (2020-21) of the women and child development department of Uttarakhand. The award includes a citation and a sum of Rs 31000.
The department released the list of 22 awardees from different fields on Friday. The awards would be given by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in a ceremony on Sunday.
