A male tiger aged about seven years was found dead in Dhechauli range, Pawalgarh, Ramnagar forest division, on Saturday. Talking to 'The Pioneer', Ramnagar Range DFO Kahkashan Naseem said that forest officials had found the carcass of the tiger while they were on patrol. "We intensify patrolling in the winter months when possibility of poaching is high", he said. "Now a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Sunday and thereafter we would be able to tell you the exact cause of the tiger's death", he said, adding that "prima facie, the death seems to have been caused by the tiger fighting with another."
