Three-day meeting of Rashtriya Swamsewak Sangh (RSS) involving three regions — Uttarakhand, Meerut and Brij —
started here at Nishkam Sewa Trust in Bhupatwala area on Friday. Block and regional heads of the organisation numbering around 35 are participating in it.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat presided over the first day’s meeting.
Sources say the meeting
is focused on sustainable development of the villages and organic farming aside from the proposal to provide
all-out protection to the cows and the strategy on the Ram Temple at Ayodhya and terrorism.
The meeting was convened under secrecy and no media person was allowed entry. Even the ordinary RSS activists were not allowed to get into the hall where the meeting is being held.
Sources further say that ten sessions would be held in course of the three-day
meeting.
