Dehradun police have arrested three persons who were allegedly carrying hashish and smack in Vikasnagar Police Station area on Tuesday night.
The accused have been identified as Devi Singh and Premchandra, who are the natives of Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) and Ishtiaq, who is resident of Dehradun, mentioned SSP the Dr Sadanand Date on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip off, the teams of police led by Vikasnagar CO SK Singh and Sahaspur Police Station in-charge sub-inspector Mukesh Tyagi arrested the duo from the Vikasnagar area.
Police have recovered about 1.55 kg hashish from Devi Singh Chauhan, nearly 1.55 Kg hashish from Premchandra and 424 gram smack from Istyaq, he added.
