A one-day workshop for science teachers posted at the colleges and universities of the State was organsied by Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC) here on Friday. The event titled ‘workshop for science educational practitioners at the tertiary stage of education’ was organised with an aim to make science teaching more effective and interesting.
In his address the Director USERC, Durgesh Pant highlighted the importance of adopting technology based methods in teaching. The senior scientific advisor USERC, J K Joshi gave a detailed presentation on teaching methods, future teaching, training needs and recent development on science teaching practices.
