In tune with its motto of ‘Grow Stronger, Climb Higher’ a team of 129 Army Air Defence (AAD) regiment is on a 12 day long trekking expedition in greater Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The expedition commemorates 65th Raising Day of the Regiment and its 5th AAD reunion.
The defence PRO said that in an attempt to promote spirit of adventure, the Air Defence warriors have taken to explore the higher reaches of Mighty Himalayas by hitting the trekking expedition in Uttrakhand. He informed that the team is presently on a 160 km trek which passes through the treacherous climbs and passes of Dodital- Dayara Bugyal areas of Garhwal region and reached halfway at Rethail on 06 October 15.
The PRO said that adventure has always been an integral part of the soldier’s life which is yet another reflection of his unflinching resolve to brace up to new challenges.
