The Principal of the DMC, Dr Pradeep Bharati Gupta appeared positive about the outcome of the MCI inspection. Speaking to The Pioneer, he claimed that the team appeared satisfied with the infrastructure, facilities, faculty and building of the hospital and college. He appeared confident that the apex body of medical education would give its clearance to the college based on which the lOP would be issued to the college. The Director, Medical Education, Dr Ashustosh Syana too appeared satisfied after the inspection of MCI. However the staff members of the DMC heaved a huge sigh of relief as the MCI team left after the inspection as from last few months they were on their toes in order to prepare the hospital and college for the inspection. The DMC authorities had imposed a ban on leaves of the staff members in anticipation of the MCI visit.
