A Tata Sumo was stolen in the Patelnagar Police Station area on April 1. An FIR under section 379 of IPC was lodged against unidentified persons in the police station on Wednesday.
The Patelnagar police station in-charge BC Pant said that in his complaint, Chamoli resident Amit Singh Panwar said that he was living in rented accommodation in the Banjarawala area.
His jeep numbered UK17A 0773 was stolen by unidentified persons on the April 1 evening when he had gone to market for dinner. According to Pant, police have been deployed at different places to nab the culprits.
