Uttarakhand Governor KK Paul has said all necessary measures should be taken to mitigate road accidents during the Char Dham Yatra season in order to make the pilgrimage a safe and convenient experience for visitors.
Chairing a meet with IG Garhwal range, SSP and SP (Traffic), Paul said that in order to make schoolchildren aware of traffic sense, senior students formed into traffic squads should be trained by traffic police. Such trained children can prove helpful in road safety and traffic control works, he said.
