The table tennis team of THDC India limited along with PGCIl, BBMB & SJVNl entered in the semi final of the 16th Inter Central Power Sector Undertaking (ICPSUs) Table Tennis Tournament under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board (PSEB), Ministry of Power, Government of India from 14 to 17th January.
THDCIl will take on PGCIl in first semi final whereas SJVNl will clash with BBMB in second match. The winner teams of these matches will fight for the trophy in final match scheduled on 17.01.2014 (morning).
This tournament is being conducted in accordance with the rule of the game approved by Table Tennis Federation of India. Prince Vipon, Chief Referee, VK Gulati, SC Bhatt & their team is conducting this sporting event. A Total of nine teams is participating in the event and divided into two pool. It is to be noted that THDCIl is one of the premier hydro power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1,400 MW.
