Reacting to rail Budget-2016-17, Chief Minister Harish Rawat’s media incharge Surendra Kumar has alleged that this rail budget has again disappointed the State people and demanded the resignation of all the five lok Sabha MPs of Uttarakhand with immediate effect.
He alleged that BJP MPs are in the race tio occupy cabinet birth which is why they did not raise State issue before union railway minister emphatically.
If they would have presented State’s issue properly then State might have gained something in this budget. As we know that Chief Minister had written a letter to the railway minister and appealed that being border State, rail projects need extention with immediate effect and even CM had met the minister Suresh Prabhu personally.
During the meeting railway minister had assured to the Chief Minister but our MPs could not follow up this. Now he demanded from BJP MPs that they should tell to the State people that what they have done for the State residents in last two years. Even several projects are pending before the Centre but they did not track the matter properly. Ultimately State residents are at great loss.
