A total of 437 students were awarded Business English certificate (BEC), an internationally recognised certification by Cambridge University Press, at a ceremony held at DIT University here on Monday.
The University Vice Chancellor Krishna Kumar said that the industry is rapidly accepting the fact that the prospective employees need to be equipped with English as a skill rather than a language. Keeping this need in mind, DIT University, in a tri-partite agreement with Manya Education Pvt ltd. and Cambridge University Press India Pvt. ltd., had introduced the Cambridge English language programme for students in 2013.
