The Superintendent of the Police (SP) city Ajay Singh who is investigating the case said that the statements of those involved including the accused and the complainant are being recorded.
In response to a question that the doctors are blaming the policemen for keeping them in dark, Singh said that the matter is being investigated but added that the doctors should have consulted the report of the medical investigations of Ali before filing the supplementary report.
Meanwhile a meeting of officer bearers of the Provincial Medical Health Services (PMHS) was organised at the home Dr Navneet Bedi on late Monday evening. In the meeting the strategy to deal the case was reportedly discussed.
