Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rain or snow at a few places from afternoon or evening onwards in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. 5-15 cm snowfall in depth may occur at places with height above 2,300 m while mist/haze may occur in the plains especially Udham Singh Nagar district in the morning of Wednesday, said Uttarakhand Metrological Centre director Anand Sharma on Tuesday.

Dehradun witnessed foggy conditions during morning hours.He further said that the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 21.0°C and 6.9°C, respectively in Dehradun on Tuesday. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Wednesday is partly to generally cloudy and light rain/thunder showers from late afternoon / evening onwards. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 16°C and 8°C respectively on Wednesday in Dehradun.
