To mark the 28th Road Safety Week, Dehradun Police will organize several progammes on road safety and traffic rules from January 9, said SP Traffic DS Gunjyal. To create awareness about road safety and traffic rules, State DGP MA Ganapathy will flag off a motor cycle rally from Survey of India auditorium, Hathibarkala. A training programme for auto/vikram operators will be held at police lines on January 10. Painting competition will be held at Gandhi Park on January 11.
Training programme for city bus/private bus operators will be held at Parade Ground on January 12. A workshop over the same issue will be held at police lines with school operators on January 13. A workshop on the same will be held at police lines with non- government organisations officials, trust, civil defense and senior citizens on January 14. Prize distribution of above painting competition will be held on January 15.
