In an administrative rejig, the State Government has transferred and changed responsibilities of 18 officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Provincial Civil Service (PCS) on Tuesday.
Principal Secretary (PS) Manisha Panwar would now hold additional responsibility of the PS Government Printing Press, Roorkee. The District Magistrate (DM) of Uttarkashi, Ashish Srivastava has been relived and now he will be Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister (CM). The Udham Singh Nagar DM, Neeraj Khairwal would hold additional responsibility of director Social Welfare and Women Welfare Department. He would also hold responsibility of Regional Food Controller, Kumaon.
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Pauri, V K Jogdande would be Municipal Commissioner of Dehradun while Ravneet Cheema who was holding this post would be the CDO of Pauri. The CDO Pithoragarh, Ashish Kumar has been elevated as DM of Uttarkashi while Vandana who was officiating as Joint Magistrate of Nainital would be the CDO of Pithoragarh.
Abhishek Rohilla is appointed as Joint Magistrate Nainital while Mayur Dikshit would be the CDO of Almora. After completion of their district training programme Himanshu Khurana and Nitika Khandelwal were appointed as Joint Magistrate Ranikhet and Roorkee respectively. Apart from the IAS officers some PCS officers have also been reshuffled.
