Vociferously opposing the Congress national vice-president Rahul Gandhi being held by Delhi police allegedly on the directions of the BJP-led Central Government, the Congress in Uttarakhand roused its cadre to protest late in the evening. A message was broadcast in the name of the Pradesh Congress Committee president Kishore Upadhyay through the social media, asking the party workers to reach the CM residence on New Cantt Road from where they would march in protest to the Raj Bhawan.
