Uttarakhad governor Dr KK Paul has stressed the need to ensure the cashless system of transactions in the state and he made a start with Raj Bhawan on Thursday.
A joint team of National Payment Corporation and Reserve Bank of India gave the officials and staff of Raj Bhawan information regarding techniques of digital payment using mobile phones and Aadhar Card and other techniques of making safe and convenient transactions.
Secretary to the governor Dr.Bhupinder Kaur Aulakh,legal advisor, finance controller ,GM of RBI GMSubrata Das ,AGM Sharad Kumar , NPCI’s Vipin Dwivedi and all officers and staff members of Raj Bhawan were present.
