SSP inspects peak hours traffic management

Published on:

Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Arun Mohan Joshi inspected the traffic management in order to take closer look at the issues faced by both the police force and general public during peak hours.

He then gave necessary directions to his subordinates about the temporary encroachment from Doon Chowk to Tehsil Chowk that sometimes raises traffic concern.

According to the information provided by the SSP office, he also directed that during the peak hours no cart or hawkers should be found strolling between Saharanpur Chowk to Darshan Lal Chowk, which might cause unnecessary disruption for ongoing traffic.

During the inspection from Prince Chowk to Tehsil Chowk, SSP Joshi inspected Circle Officer (traffic) to coordinate with Town Planners so that a suitable plan can be devised to ensure that traffic flow at Tehsil Chowk and Prince Chowk can be reduced.

This will help in effective traffic management and the people will not have to face unnecessary problems.
